hiya guys
just a quick question to ask all you wonderfully helpful people how many of you have used sarc-ex and was it effective...also where did you get it from

I'm on my second tub of Sarc-Ex (by Global Herbs and comes from local tack shop) and it does seem to be shrinking my horse's sarcoid.

This is her second sarcoid and completely different to the first. The first one was the size of a marble and stuck out like a bobble on her leg. I used various treatments and it eventually burst.

I only discovered Sarc-Ex since the second sarcoid appeared which is totally different to the first. This one is larger but is in her armpit and is palpable. It has certainly reduced in size quite considerably but the spring is the time when they tend to be at their worst so time will tell.

The only problem with Sarc-Ex is that it's not very palatable. I'm lucky that my horse will eat it, but many won't!

i used it on my gelding as he had one sarcoid, within one month he had 3 more nasty ones appear. whether this is a coincidence or not I would never use it again, far too paranoid now! Had them lazered off at Newmarket and they haven't been back.

I used it - didn't work at all and he continued to develop more.

Used the cream from newmarket and they all went - no sign now for over 3 years (touch wood, fingers crossed etc!).

I've used it on numerous horses with great success. I would suggest that you feed the powder and use the cream as well as it really seems to make a difference. I have one horse who had an inner thigh sarcoid cut off by the vet and the blood dripped on his leg and lo & behold he was covered in them within six weeks. Sarc-Ex got rid of them within six months and they have never returned.

My donkey had a massive sarcoid on his eye area and I used 'Camarosa' cream which cleared it up never to return!
