Hi

My horse has successfully had recovered a Sarcoid from her leg via using the Liverpool cream, it has healed really well, but no hair growth has resumed yet, has anyone had any experience of this, and had any hair re-growth or used a particular product that has been successful stimulating hair growth. The last treatment was in September. Any advice much appreciated.

Sixteen years ago we used the paste on a thumb nail sized sarcoid on the inside of the forearm of a horse; it worked beautifully. No re-occurence but also, sixteen years on, no hair. Not sure if my experience is typical or not or whether the paste has changed over the years.

Hello,

My Horse was treated for a Scarcoid about 5 years ago. The scarcoid was in the top of his thigh so you couldnt see it when he was stood up...he was trated with the Liverpool cream - in the end they managed to pull the lump all a band and the cream was injected into in and I then had some some of human skin cancer cream to rub on the rest of the area - which was kinda scaly and looked like toad skin. The skin is very soft up there are the hair is very thin (its above where you would clip to). But the hair never grew back - thankfully the scarcoid has never come back either!

well the obvious answer would be the the one thing that normally makes hair grow back and that is Cornucresine, which does work. Personally I am not sure if I would use, mainly because I would be worried it would stimulate the sarcoid to grow back too???? I have had personal success with warts on my horse with Camrosa (they have website) and hair has always grown back well. But I would check with your vet before you apply anything.
