Hi Guys,
My friend has an Arab mare that has a multitude of sarcoids (tried and tested and given up on all treatments including Liverpool Cream !!) However the latest one is right on her underside in the middle of the girth channel
...... this obviously puts a problem on riding in a saddle with a girth - Does anyone have any bright ideas on how to overcome this and still use a saddle/girth??? - my idea was one of those old fashioned webbed girths (you remember the vile stringy ones that we used to be able to buy in yellow, red, green and blue
) and then cut the middle strings out to allow the sarcoid to sit untouched (this sarcoid is quite pronounced) ... however we are unable to find anywhere that stocks these lovely old girths (can't think why
)
Does anyone have any (sensible!!!) suggestions?
Sarah xx
