Just a short update for anyone who is interested.
Lily has been off work now for 11 days having treatment for her sarcoids. I think I have suffered just as much as she has. *shudders at the thought of crying in front of the vet*
However, today I rode her and she was an absolute star
.
The swelling has all but disappeared and having carefully rubbed, prodded and poked around the areas and getting not so much as an ear flicker of discomfort I decided to risk the saddle. I bought a white girth sleeve specifically to check that the girth was not rubbing anywhere near her largest sarcoid, or the vassaline (sp?), I put on around the area.
We had a little walk and trot around the arena, all of about 15 mins, and called it a day.
She enjoyed her wash down afterwards and happily returned to her hay. Bless her!!
