sarcoid

My gelding has had a sarcoid on his sheath since we had him 2 years ago.
Tonight we noticed that it has split open and there are white hard nodules protuding, but won't actually pop out. Do I leave it well alone for it to take its course. I've never had a horse with sarcoids before.

ive no idea what to do except dont put bloodroot near it, it is brilliant for sarcoids but it cant be put near mucous membranes
