Sarcoid?

I hope the image works - haven't tried to post one on here for a while.
Noticed that Deano had a totally circular scab on his thigh a week or so ago. I wondered about sarcoids then but didn't reckon it was worth calling the vet out to confirm as i I know they will just tell me to monitor it. So i have been keeping a close eye and tonight noticed the 'head' has come off it, leaving this oozy circular raised patch. Does it look like a sarcoid to anyone? Any other suggestions?

Enlarge your picture and take a look to the right of the spot. There appear to be a batch of insect eggs. I think it's possibly more likely that something has hatched from it, or it's a fly bite.

Ew, i hadn't even considered that! I see what you mean - i thought it was mud because i have been avoiding grooming over the lump but will have a second look tomorrow!
