my mare has a sarcoid in the girth area that needs removing, its hanging on a piece of skin, getting the vet out to sort it next week, what treatments have people had on their horses with sarcoids??

Liverpool Cream for an occult sarcoid. Treated in July last year, vet checked it was week and is delighted with progress. Said there is nothing to feel under the skin now and is healing as it should.

If its pedunculated you can use string (lamb elastrators) or surgical excision normally, +/- the liverpool cream
