Hi
Ive noticed a few posts about sarcoids but I need to know what do people use to treat them? I'd prefer not to use potions that burn the skin etc just herbal stuff.
Thanks

hiya

you could try thuja, you can get either cream or tablets. Tea tree oil is meant to be effective and there is also equimune from hilton herbs
My horse had the worst sarcoid the vet had ever seen and I was told by him, my farrier, equine dentist and many others to have him put down, he had until september (2004) hence the show name last chance saloon

I used all the above and it went. Will never know if it was that or just coincindence?
The other thing I did was I tied the sarcoid off every day until it dropped off
good luck

My mare has a sarcoid on her belly. It's fine in the winter, but when the flies came out, they started attacking it. This resulted in a big 'bulb' which was weeping.

Anyhow, I tried Global Herbs "Sarc Ex", and after 2 1/2 weeks, the sarcoid is about 1/2 the size, not weeping or bloo dy (so now the flies aren't so attracted to it which must also help). So I would highly recommend trying Sarc Ex!!

Just another update on this one..... Said Sarcoid has now all fallen off!! All that she has been given for it is Sarc Ex which is all herbal stuff and cost about £25 for the tub.
