My Cavallos finally wore through at the ankle at Blair (11 years heavy use) - seeing your socks through your boots is sooo not a good look when you're trying to look elegant in top hat and tails!.

My father was so horrified by the state of them that he went halfers with me on a pair of Sarm Hippique 1600's. They are the most exquisite boots and fit perfectly. Please can anyone who has a pair tell me that they are really pleased with them to assuage my guilt at having spent so much money??

Not sure I can take it if you have bad reviews....

Gosh!!! You lucky thing...I had to go and get the bargain Shires boots. Size 3 and too big for my foot, but at least they fit me round the calf on my skinny legs....live the dream!!!

I've had mine about 8 years and I love them! So beautiful and comfy (apart from when a pony fell on my leg and made it permanently bigger and therefore one boot too tight but I think I’ve just about stretched it back to comfiness now!)

Your news ones look lovely. If they last another 11 years that's only about £45 per year, if you only wear them 10 times a year that's only £4.50 a wear!
No more feeling guilty for you!!

That's great news for me! I bought a pair of Cavallos earlier this year at a sale and they only cost £75!! I think it's because I have big feet and fat calfs

so they were vastly reduced to get rid.

Most envious! They are very gorgeous I have go the Sarm 500s which always look silly when not on a leg but look great on though they are clearly not as nice as the 1600!!!!
Yummy
