Perth Australia, 4 SAS Troopers were standing outside a "TOYS-R-US" store, collecting for a tiny tots appeal.
The store manager witnessed a man stealing a lap top, which he'd hidden under his coat. When approached, he knocked the manager, and another assistant to the floor, pulled a knife and ran for the door.
The soldiers apprehended the man, and one of them was stabbed in the back, though the injury was considered superficial.
The apprehended man was transported to hospital with a broken arm, a broken leg, 2 broken ribs, and a suspected broken jaw. By all accounts he sustained his injuries when he tripped over, whilst making his escape.
