Charlie was sold 15 mintues ago and is gone. Chester is calling for him like a lost puppy which suprises me as I always thought he could care less about the other horses emotionally. My children were upbeat and showed no sadness. They really just wanted the little girl that got him to stay and play

WHY do I get so attached to these horses! Horses are bought and sold every day but I don't care. I suppose when I stop loving them as I do and stop getting attached I would prefer not to have them at all.

It is just hard at first and I ALWAYS second guess myself.

The family was WONDERFUL though and the little girl was adorable! Charlie did fantastic as well and I was so suprised that he JUMPED into the trailer to go!
We will be visiting him often and they live very close by. I got a very trusting vibe from them and they are even hauling Chester for me next week on an overnight riding trip. BONUS!
Anyhow, I should be happy but tonight I am just so sad

I also wanted to add that Charlie is why I found HHO! When I was looking to buy him he had a bloated belly and it turned out to be due to rich grass and alfalfa. I came online to research it and found HHO! I did a search on Grassy gas belly and found you all! A bit strange when I just noticed the post bellow me was about that same subject!

What a handsome chap - I'm not surprised you sold him so quickly! I hope he has years of fun in his new home. I've never sold a horse but it must be a strange feeling to hand them over to someone else. Remember the fun times though Jade, don't cry!

Awww, what a cutie he was.

Big hug for you, just think of all the fun and love he is going to share with that little girl.

funny thing was when my Pug ran outside the little girl said "Excuse me! Ummmm we are not gonna buy your dog too becasue we already have one!"

I was exactly the same when I sold a pony (in fact the only horse I have ever sold!). I used to go and watch her and her new owner competing and never left without tears!!! Sounds like your fella has got a great home and will make a little girl very, very happy.
