Saturday morning poo....

Morning all,

This morning I woke to find A LOT of poo and sick. Dog has been v poorly in the night, must have caught him off guard as he usually wakes us up to go out, though he is only 6 months. He is very chirpy this morning and no different to normal so not too worried about him.

Anyway.... what I want to ask is what methods best work to get poo out of the carpet?? I've gone for the soapy water then vanish approach... any good products? Any tricks of the trade?

I tried everything, the only thing that truely worked was a steamer. Maybe borrow one?

Been there a few times ! Although a little counterintuitive, (slightly gross alert) we found that removing the 'large bits' and leaving the residue until dry and then it scrapes off fully and can be vacuumed up.

I use Bob Martin Stain & Odour remover, wipe off the excess with kitchen roll and then get my steamer out, no smell and no stain.

Pound shop carpet foam. It comes in a big pink can and is so much better than the Vanish stuff.

this and then wash the area but obviously it does depend on the consistency
