Sav-A-Hoof Spray - U.K. equivalent???

A good diet that will allow the horse to be resistant to infection in the first place.

If I were to use a product, other than water, it would be Red Horse products or Sudocrem.

However, for long term hoof boot use there is athlete's foot powder.

I would NEVER spray anything on the coronet band.

Funnily enough I've just ordered a bottle of Red Horse Hoof Paste! I just want something to apply to the underneath of the foot to help them cope as well as they can from being confined to a hoof boot for so many hours a day in summer. Even applying a clean cotton sock daily over the hoof before fitting the boots and keeping her feet extremely clean, there's still an odour when I remove the boots in the morning. Her feet look fine ATM but I don't like the slight offish smell from them - just incase it's an indication that something's brewing despite my best efforts of keeping her feet and boots clean. Better safe than sorry IMO. :)
