Here are the dates & tests as promissed:-
July 7th & 21st: P16 P17 N22 N23
Aug 4th P7 P12 N21 N22
Aug 18th P7 P12 N25 N27
Sept 8th P4 P18 N22 N25
Sept 22nd P4 P18 N21 N22
Oct 6th P4 P10 N21 N25
Oct 20th P7 P12 N22 N27
All Outdoor
All entries close 1 week prior to comp date
Late entries may be accepted space permitting at extra cost £1 per class
All classes £8.00
Times available on Thurs prior to comp between 12 noon & 2p.m. on 07740 822270
All entries to be on official entry form.

I've never been there but heard that the parking is in a field, is this right?? Presume the warm up and tests are ridden on a surface?
 
Yes you do park in their field. I've never got stuck before but after this rain dont take my word for it!!
Both of their warm up and competition arena's are surface. From memory the competition is a rubber mix and I think the warm up is a sand/wire mix bit like Weston Lawns.

Official Entry Forms: If you want to enter for this Sat then again I'd just ring. The entry forms just require the usual Name, Address, Horses Name, Class and Total £

Directions: Their address is Lilbourne Road, Clifton Upon Dunsmore, Rugby, Warks, CV23 0BB

They are just off the A5, along the road that tops the Atherstone Hunt Point2Point field. Very straight forward to get to.

It's ironic that I'm plugging this when in actual fact I CANT GO because I'm at a wedding!
I'll be there for the other's though!

I've been to Saxon Fields today and competed and it was so nice to go back there.
We used to compete there a lot in the past and never had any problems with the parking, its a large field they use as a parking area so theres always lots of space for turning and (i'm touching wood now) i have never ever got stuck through wet ground.....

The best number to call on if you want a late entry or a schedule is 07740 822270..

When I was talking to Jenny today she said that they are looking at having a photographer coming to the shows as well which is a bonus as there aren't that many unaffilliated shows that offer that, and you know how we all love photos of ourselves competing.!!!

Looking forward to the 21st now...

Yes i've entered the 2 novice classes.

Do you know of many other people that would be interested in coming, i know their entries are quite slow at present, it may be because people are away. If you do tell them to call on the mobile number and Jenny will book them in as late entries.

Now all we need is the sun to come out. !!!!!!!
