Went up to Leahurst to see my boy today expecting to see yet another improvement I had a shock to see him he really is not well again colicky , increase in heart rate from 44 now up to 68 i thought maybe it was due to his guts being restarted after the op, maybe it is just that, but they have stomach tubed him again and after eventually ( no pathologist at w/end )getting a negative result for EGS they are doing the test again OMG i cant belive this is happening.
Please healing vibes needed for my poor boy this is like bl00dy torture.

Oh no... all my vibes coming your way and I am thinking of you and Saxon.

When are they doing the GS test? They don't have to open him up again do they???

When are they giving you an update?

Oh no mc - I don't believe it! I had abdominal surgery yonks ago and believe me, when your digestive system starts up again you get humungus belly pain. Fingers crossed that it might yet settle. Don't give up mc, and try to be positive when you go to see him coz he will pick up your terrified vibes and get frightened himself. Sending {{{healing vibes}}} xxx

Oh no Layne, what a worry for you. Have you questioned the vets? Jet Set knows only too well that abdominal surgery can carry the risk/side effect of colic. In fact a general anaesthetic in horses always carries the risk of colic. Dont lose hope now and, as BoF says, keep positive for Saxon as he will pick up on your fears. The vets will only be doing another GS test as this is what vets do when they are scratching their heads, they go through all the usual clinical tests purely to rule things out.

I know from personal experience the 'torture' you are going through. Sending mega famous HHO healing vibes and prayers for Saxon and for you hun.
