We look into their eyes and know
the sad day has come to let them go
we share so many memories
and even though our hearts they break
we understand what must be done
we'll miss them all dearly,
but they are forever in our minds
a beautiful life we've shared together
now the time has come, we must be kind
heavenly eyes speak volumes
as we agree to let them go
we stroke there manes to the very end
after all, we've been more than friends
as we hold them close
and say our last goodbyes
we know that they'll never leave us
