Try Barrier's Anti Itch Shampoo - it clears all bacteria and fungi and soothes and calms the area.

I bought this for sweet itch horse, but its cleared my bays flaky elbows.

Not sure if the same, Frank gets problems, particularly hair loss on the points of his elbows and down the back (ie not on the inside and when he is stood you wonder how he got them but can tell when he moves) because his girth groove is quite forward, he can only wear shaped girths.

I sudocrem and am always super careful about washing the poor unhardy cob with copious amounts of water

I know it's an old post, but was searching for advice and this thread is exactly my issue. The chemist direct link doesn't work anymore, silver Skye or the collective memory, any help would be appreciated .

No the link won't work as they have obviously moved/changed the page but it was pointing to Betadine Ointment. You can search on the name on that or any other site.

However thought that was prescription only?
