Scabby lump on belly

history:
my boy had a 'scabby lump' on his belly earlier in the summer, i booked him in for the vet to see on their next routine visit. The day the vet was due, i went to catch him and wooohooo, it had come away and had clean, fresh skin underneath hence the vet never examined him as all was well.
However, we now have the same situation, however its not as much of a lump.

i should have thought to have taken photos before i put a bit of purple spray on but it will give you an idea.

there is no puss visible. I have just had a quick look though some of the photos in the sticky and it does look similar to a photo of a horse who hurt its stomach going over a fence, but also like a sarcoid... (but could something like that have come away by itself then reappeared??)

Anyway, we have been having a nosey at it today along with an experienced friend and we both feel it isnt anything like an umbilical hernia due to its location, but i thought i would post on here to see what you think? i guess i should have also got a side on view, it stands approx 0.5mm off his skin??

It looks like a sarcoid and is in a very common place for them to appear, they can just come and go. Show it to your vet next time he is on the yard or send him a photo, without the spray on it for a better idea.
