Our mare has recently moved fields with her foal to be with others and over this last week has developed a rash on her muzzle which resembles sunburn. One other mare has the same rash also has a pink muzzle she has had it longer about two weeks .This morning i noticed the same rash was appearing on foals muzzle. I have washed with hibiscrub and covered with sudocrem. Anyone else had this problem and know what it is ?
