Do you pick them or do you leave them?

I always leave them because Ive heard they scar if you pick like on humans-

now my poor pony is covered in scabs cause she fell over Donkey
and shes just gone out bandages gone and scabbing up nicely and some kind person has come along and picked all her scabs and gave me an ear hole about how Im not looking after her, I got quite angry as we are all on DIY and it is none of their buisness- but just incase I am wrong

Depends whether the scabs are ready to come off or not.

Usually, nature takes its course and they fall off naturally.....

If they're ready to come off then I do, but otherwise I try to leave them! xx

I leave until they're ready to come and are coming off. I'd have severe words with the interfering cow who touched my horse with no permission.

yes- shes getting an ear full and may have the privalige of paying this vets bill as shes on the brink of needing more antibiotics. ahh shes one of those that every yard has - a non horsey mother that thinks she knows everything and really knows nothing ahh if only they had a nice accident prone horse like mine that has cost more in vets bills than livery over 4 years and she has the native that nothing ever happens to made my amazing start to the week even more amazing!
