Scam Going Round Facebook (Pretty Sure It Is Anyway)

There is a post going round facebook about 52 horses that need good homes or they will be going for slaughter on Saturday...

Looking up the number given on google, im pretty sure this is a scam...

I think at some point this was genuine information, but it is several months out of date and I have no idea why it has resurfaced now

Yeah I'm pretty sure its a scam too. Appears to have done the rounds in America too I believe. Its a real shame as people get drawn in by these con artists then when a horse really does need rescuing they won't get involved for fear of getting burnt again

It was on another thread yesterday that it was true...in America! Then someone got wind of it here & hijacked it with a premium rate number.

i googled it, its from February and from America too apparently it was real there though, it was in the news etc

i posted a thread about it yesterday. It was a true story a while back and someone has re posted the story with a premium rate number of over 5p per minute. i googled the number and it matched UPS track your order telephone number ;-)

I don't think it has much to do with our sad country. I believe it is a premium number that benefits people in a much warmer country!
