I thought i would test the market as i am about to put the little one up for sale in the next month or so. So i over priced her (not by alot lol) to see what kind of response i would get i was shocked to recive three emails in the first 2 days and they were worded as i would word an ad in response to a for sale ad. However 3 emails down the line i get called a different name
"dear ..." i would be interested in ....(not name of pony) if he/she is still for sale give me your bank details and i will pay £3500 into your account now and £4000 when he/she has been shipped over to me as i want to populate my new children farm"

well to be honest when ponio is advertised under £1000 its a joke but ...

is this a new breed of scammers as the first emails read along the lines of
" hello, i am responding to your ad on (said website) she looks like she might be what i have been looking for would you please be able to send me some more information and photos many thanks....."

Has anyone else had problems with scammers?

Yes - I have had problems with them before.

Now I just put my mobile number and say 'text or call for more info via email'. I don't tend to get any scammers / people messing me about now!

I do wonder whether they would reply to...

Empty envelope for sale. 8yrs old. Great stamp. Has been used in many different spheres. Very experienced. Good home less important than price. £10,000

It would be worth it just to waste their time! Or do you think they have an automatic program?

Dare someone to try it!!!
