My horse is having her follow-up scan on Friday this week after injuring a ligament in one of her front legs. She has been on biweekly and then weekly laser treatments to help heal the swelling. After being on box rest and twice daily walking for almost 3 months, she and I are getting to the end of our tether. In the middle of it all, I have moved yards (yard closed).
I am keeping everything crossed that the scan shows she is on the mend. I am also looking at the weather forecast for the week and it seems to be warming up a bit from Sunday which is amazing. New yard has good non-muddy hacking which will be amazing for building up my mare's strength after so much time off.
Ultra nervous for the results as she and I really need a break.......
