I have a 10 month old shiba inu pup, he is very strong and wilful and we had our work cut out training him. But he entered two shows and got a third, a second and a first.

Then, four weeks ago we leant him to the shiba club for a judging seminar because of his colour( he is white), anyway to cut a long story short, one of the judges grabbed at him, he panicked and went backwards off the table ripping a claw out in the process.

Now he wont let anyone approach him on the table and is growling. I have tried just putting him on the table and letting peeps just walk round him and even on the floor just walking round him, but he is not happy at all.

Just wondered if anyone had any tips for curing him off this problem. Thanks for reading all this

I guess it will just be a long process of building his confidence and trust back up and making the table a good place to be.
You must be really cross about what happened. It just sounds as though its a time thing for him to become accepting of strangers again, then strangers handling him on the table.
