Am i right in thinking when a horses hair grows back white (as in scarred) that there is no way back and this will stay forever?? Sorry i think i know the answer to this question, also how long and how badly would something have to have been in contact with the horse to cause such trauma?

It entirely depends on the horse is the answer to your second question. And yes, once white hair grows in it will stay that way but you get horse make up nowadays I understand and that might cover the white hair effectively but others would know better than I do.

My boys got white eyebrows on a black face now as a fly mask he had on caused the rubbing ... never saw that the hair had all dissapered though :S I'm thinking it would have been easier to grow in a differant colour as he is piebald maby?
