Oldest daughter and Scarlett have spent the summer bonding, for those who remember Scarlett has had a very bad past being beaten around the head with whips and being treated quite badly.
She is naturally quite scared around her head and face, hates to be caught and can spook at her own shadow.
Daughter has worked really hard at gaining her trust and can catch her 95% of the time no problems, she's also overcome her fear of the mounting block and having her bridle on.
Bridle needs moved in the photo's, it was her new one and we were just trying it on her

Also changed from this:

To this in the last 5 months:

Shes had 2 foals one after the other and hasn't been in work for 2 yrs so has a mummy tummy, we have let her have a summer to get used to us and settle in so not done any really work yet.
Long way to go, but very proud of them both as Scarlett is not like my daughters first pony in any way, but she loves her to bits even when she does come off her
