That horse amazes me - we went on the downs on our own. Passed another horse, fine (reared up with potential sharer last week so was quite a 'moment' in my mind)!. Met up with another horse on the yard, fine. Horse buggers off in a canter and continues hack on his own, fine. Yearlings run up along side us in the field we ride past, grows 2 hands but fine.
took him on the sand gallops and made him canter all the way - was knackered by the time he got tot he end but still full of beans.
so took him along the grass and he went off in fast canter - suddenly his nose was nearly on the floor so I had to pick him up and slow very quickly. really scarey but felt like he was tripping over his feet. poor boy. came up in a very bad sweat then - think he pooped himself!
very good hack though apart from that! xx
PS - first part of post has nothing at all to do with anything other than the fact that i'm very proud of my big ginger.
