I turned my stallion out this afternoon with his shiny bright blue storm rug as he is poorly and it is cold and rainy here today. Seems like a normal thing to do you may think......
The foals saw this moving blue thing and shot off to the other end of the field snorting. It took them a good half an hour to calm down whilst remaining at a safe distance (the other end of the field) then....
Eagle the stallion decided to go and say Hi to his boys
OH MY GOD THE BLUE THING IS COMING FOR US.
I nearly wet my pants, it was so funny to see them run around like headless chickens until the brood mares went up to him to say Hi, it seemed as they wanted to show the kids that he wasn't a Lion.
Horses are priceless entertainment, thanks boys. xxxx
