When we were driving it happened to a friend of ours. The pony spooked for apparently no reason and panicked. My friend fell out of the trap and his daughter who was grooming grabbed the reins and ended up wedged in a tree. It was horrifying for the driver who was concussed, his daughter and all of us watching. It happened so quickly and the majority of us were not near enough to even attempt to grab the pony. My OH was nervous before and lost interest soon after so we gave up.
