Im looking at buying a good 2nd hand bridle from ebay and now there are the above three that have taken my eye. Any advice into which would be better??
The Barnsby is magnetic?

Thanks Faracat. Im certainly hoping that whichever I buy will last many years and even 2nd hand they are all still expensive so any recommendations are appreciated.

I've not got either of the other makes but I have got a CTD (budget Stubben range) which is lovely, although I've not had it long so I can't say about it's longevity. But if you see a bargain one - snap it up, the chocolate colour is the nicest brown that I've seen too. :)

Will look out for that thanks, Have to go for brown/chocolate/havanna in a cob size but its been such a long time purchasing any bridle as mine have all lasted years and for once i feel like treating myself/horse.

Just be aware that the Stubben/CTD version of havana is actually a red-brown. ;)

Are you close enough to visit The Tack Haven/TC Feeds in Whipsnade? That's where I get my old Kieffer from and they had a huge range of different makes back then. I had to take a tapemeasure and check that the bridle would fit before I bought it because my mare has an inbetween pony/cob sized head.

I have a keiffer :) I bought it new about 5/6 years ago, still looks exactly the same, like new now. Would have another like a shot :) It's a padded crank dressage one.

Thanks guys, I do like the look of the Keiffer.
Tack haven is where we have all our feed delivered from but rarely have time to get up there so I will try. I just think I would like a good quality 2nd hand than an inferior quality new bridle.

Sabre for me.

I had a barnsby, it lasted all of a month before it was snapped, and you can't buy spares for it so I have a bridle, minus a headpiece and cheekpiece sat at home doing nothing!
