I just wondered if anyone had any advice really?
Today I was lunging my horse, in canter, on the left rein. Suddenly he really slipped. His legs slipped from under him, his stifle was almost on the ground. He went along like that for about a metre (I looked at the marks in the ground) and then battled to get up.
I expect he is a bit sore now? I walked him off for a good 10-15 mins. He will go out all day in the field tomorrow so hope that will help. He is stabled at night.
The school is sand with a rubber topping by the way. The going was pretty uneven tonight following someone else's free jumping.........................
Any tips to try to counteract any damage?
