Good morning!

I am based in North London (Mill Hill) And have the past few months been looking for a share horse. Having moved from the country and having horses all my life I am desperatley missing them!

Unfortunatley I cannot afford many shares in the area/commit to specific days due to my job etc.

I have decided to volunteer at the RDA and perhaps have one lesson a month.

I did try a big riding school close to me, needless to say I was not very impressed. Does anyone know of a place that does schoolmaster lessons in the area?

I have been riding for 15 years, worked on various types of yards. I am happy with young/nervous/green horses however I would love some schoolmaster lessons to improve my flatwork and help with my confidence in jumping.

Alternatively anyone need a hand with their horse :D

Thank you!

If you are based in Mill Hill why not put some notices up in the local livery yards seeing if anyone would be interested in you exercising their horse. When I kept my horse in Mill Hill I had two sharers sharing my horse which they used to excercise. (I did not expect any financial contribution from them). It was great for me because my horse was kept fit. (One of the sharers had lessons on him and the other hacked him). I used to keep my horse at Mote End Farm, Nan Clarks Lane NW7 4HH and they had 250 acres of riding and a menage etc. Other yards are Burtonhole Farm, Burtonhole Lane, Frith Manor Lullington Gath, London Equestrian Lullington Garth. Good luck.

That's a shame I used to go and always had a fab time, piaffe passage and flying changes were always on the menu plus test riding, I loved it, shame petrol is so expensive now and I am further away. :(
