I have just started riding my new mare and she needs schooling to work on the bit in a nice outline and to bring her hocks underneath her to work her back end more. I was just wondering if anyone could reccomend some schooling exercises that i could do with her to improve this.
Also, how often would you school her? I don't want her to get bored. Thanks

you'll probably get more responses in Comp Riders than NL, but here's a start:
I wouldn't school more than every other day, and I'd work on transitions, flexing, transitions within the pace, lateral work in walk at first then trot when she gets the idea, that sort of thing.
tbh though nothing suggested on here is a substitute for a lesson with someone good though, sometimes you really need an educated pair of eyes on the ground, checking you both, as how it looks doesn't necessarily correspond exactly to how it feels!
