Schooling at liberty

Is that the right name for it? Unmounted schooling with no tack?

My mum wants to see it in progress, so I was wondering if anyone has any photos or videos they could show me? Please post them here!

loose schooling?

I've done quite a lot of this this year to help teach my two youngsters to jump - takes a bit of time and persistance however they will both now walk, trot, canter and change direction on command - next thing is teaching them to circle round me on command.....

I have pics of them jumping whilst loose schooling if thats any use to you.....?

nothing spectacular - I done a lot of loose schooling over the summer whilst both horses were 'between' saddles and i couldnt ride... also, as I said, I found it handy for helping teach my tb to jump...

Loose schooling is good for teaching shape over jumps as it leaves nothing to worry about also lets them find the natural pace.
