transitions, circles, bending and flexing to either side, serpentines and transitions on a serpentine or circle, also polework seems to help sometimes.

i think some excercises will work depending on the individual horse

leg yield to track and when hit track pick up trot.
flex to left for 5 strides, straight for 5 then flex to right for 5 and repeat.
on a 20 metre circle flex as above.
lots of very shallow loops.
small serpentines from center line to 3/4 line, see how many can get in.
10metre circle and push the hindquarters out, then pick up trot.
 
transitions... loads of them... on a circle will do all three things u want to do... and also progressive transitions.

head flexes- counter bending...

'in-position' or shoulder fore whatever u call it lol
