I had to cancel my lesson last night, due to the rain (don't mind hacking in the rain, but schooling? never) and general horribleness of yesterday (fell out big time with OH and we've hardly spoken since.)
Anyways, I'm going upto the yard soon and would really appreciate anyone suggesting a couple of schooling excercises for me?
Few things to be bear in mind-
* Solo is very forward going, quite fizzy, and takes a while to settle, and finds it hard to concentrate.
* The school is surrounded by bushes so will be quite spooky- it's a bit windy here today.
* We're working on his walk, trot and transitios at the mo- he can do most easy-ish lateral work, i.e leg-yielding, turn on the forehand and shoulder-in.
* Don't really want to be doing any cantering as he finds that waaayy to radical in the school.
* Poles are the work of the devil, and I don't like doing poles/jumping unless someone is with me, which i don't think there will be.
* Need to work on his concentration and my habit of getting bored easily.
thankyou!
