We tried them on the hunters & they were usless!! saddles kept slipping when leaning over to do gates! Though the Master uses them on his & they seem to be fine on his so maybe just wasn't good on very round horses (cobs). So not to put you off but they werent good for us but like I said the master gets on well with his on TB!! Sorry not been much help!

My boy was broken in One, and I am saving up for one (hopefully eventually!) They are fab IMO, seem to spread pressure very evenly, and my boy was certainly happy in his when first met him, and he can be funny about being girthed up.
Re Cobs, because of their shape, they are prone to sddle slipping anyway

No in North Yorkshire. Cobs saddle doesn't slip with any other girth was just that one plus huntsmans hunter wish is irish had the same problem??! When he lent over to crack his whip sadle went all the way round & wason the highest tension setting??! But like I say the masters 2 TB 1 17.2hh & the other 16hh they are fine on???? Like you say they are alot of money but I would say worth it if it works on your horse.
