We realised Scoobs has never been to the beach before and it was time to take him! So at 9 o clock this morning 5 of us and scoobie set off for the beach, after getting lost all round lincolnshire we finally arrive after i spot a sign saying "skegness" and start screaming to turn right, right now!
Anywho, we arrived at the beach and Scoobs had no idea what to make of it. He tried to eat the sand and then proceeded to bounce along for the first 10 minutes but he finally got the hang of walking semi - normally! I had him on the long line to start with as I wasn't sure if he would come back or not so into the sea I went with him (It was COLD!) and he loved it, he was eating the waves, diving into the sea, attempting to swim and running in circles around me. I decided that he was being semi well behaved enough so took him off the long line and he was FAB! he came back 98% of the time, running between me, my mum and the sea and carrying on his antics, he ran after a seagull and realised he couldn't swim so came back very quickly looking a little sad for himself. lol.
He only ran away once, when my little brother called him, Scoobs ran towards him and carried on! We got him back within 5 minutes which is a miracle considering 2 years ago you could not let him off the lead at all! Was a bit more diving into the sea, chasing the waves and running circles and by that point both him and I were cold so we headed back to the shops etc where he stole a donut, some fish of me and tried to rob someones ice cream! Luckily he was caught that time! I am just so so proud of him and the way he behaved and so glad he enjoyed it, wasn't sure if he would like it or not!
