Hello,
Planning to put my mare into foal next year through AI. As we live in the very north of Scotland was thinking of putting my mare to the Scotland AI Services at Craigton Farm, West Lothian where they will take semen from any stallion. They also have a lovely ID stallion Euro on site. Anyone used the services by the centre before or the stallion? It looks really good on the website and would go for a visit before i put my mare there, just wondering if anyone had any past experience or knowledge of the place.

hi there ben was very helpful wheni was putting my mare in foal. he has a very good reputation and delivers a good service and would be highly recommended. the other place i would consider would be lambridden stud but that is proberly a bit to far for you.
 
Ben is highly recommended by a lot of folks so I think you'll be fine

Yes I know Ben and he is very knowledeable. He was stud manager at Ingliston House Stud before it changed hands.
 
Hiya, i have just brought home my 2 mares from Bens, and both are in foal. He took great care of them, i wouldnt look past Ben and Olga- they really know their stuff!

Cant wait for the foalies next year!
