I own a bright bay mare, with blaze, aged about 18 years who used to be called Marti. I'm told she was once on a showjumping yard, possibly in the Inverness area.

She received terrible head injuries in a trailer and had to be retired from jumping, some time before 2007.

Ring any bells please anyone?

Do you have any photos of her Fiona ?
I worked with showjumpers on the Scottish circuit for years. I might recognise her from a photo if she was out competing when I was a groom.
Do you know any more about her ?
Like BSJA reg name, who rode her, grade (A, B, C,), did she jump up to any particular level before her accident - British Novice, Discovery, Newcomers, Foxhunter etc ?
If you could post a photo, I'll try my best to help if I can. Lots of SJ horses up here are/were competed by professional riders, with a few privately owned owner/rider combinations.
We had riders and horses from pretty much all over Scotland coming together to compete every weekend, with bigger entries at venues like Gleneagles, Muirmill, Letham House, Jumps EC and most of the big agricultural shows throughout the summer.
I worked with ponies from 13.2hh JD, up through all of the grades and right up to Senior Grade A's over a number of years before 2007. :)
