Has anyone been to the SF dressage finals in recent years? Have qualified 2 horses but struggling to find much (any?!) info on the champs/set up/prizes etc.
Any thoughts/experiences welcome as need to decide as it would be a 4 hour trip for me eep!
(Also in Scotland Forum)
Thanks 😄

Hi, I also qualified and couldn't find much information, unfortunately I didn't realise needed to send in qualification 14 days after and as we didn't realise was a qualifier and was my friends horse we missed it :-( might try and qualify again in the next few weeks but again would like to hear some feedback as we would be a 4 hour trip too!

I qualified a couple of years ago & it was quite good although not enormously different from a standard BD Rowallan dressage weekend. Suspect that there is no information as Rowallan is now Morris EC so no-one will have any idea what it will be like under new management.

I qualified in 2012 and found that is was much the same as a bd weekend but the rossettes were lovely. There was no prize money but prizes in kind given like gloves saddlecloth etc. I was quite disappointed no official prize giving just collected my prizes at the office but rowallan is under new ownership so could be different. I did fund a lot of affiliated riders were there so it was quite a high standard.

Thanks all for the responses!

Such a shame it's not better publicised. Were the classes well subscribed in past years? Bit concerned that because it's on a Friday it might not have the same "buzz".

I think there was about 15-20 in the class but I'm sure my class was on a sat rather than the Fri
