He's lovely isn't he?! Doesn't look like a "normal" racehorse either, he's got a very expressive gallop (I hope that makes sense, what I mean is that he lifts his legs up rather than being flat to the ground)
I flipping missed it! Did anyone follow Harry The Viking as he's related to all 4 of mine!..bet was far from massive & know he wasn't placed, but only caught the end and never heard his name
I wonder if anyone did notice tho, tonnes were pulled up...did anyone think this was because of the tragedies in the Grand National, no one wanted to take and unnecessary risks? Great they all got home at whatever pace..

There were a lot pulled up, I'm by no means an expert but to me, the ground looked quite dead - as if it was taking the "bounce" out of some of them...? TBH though, in a field of that size on a horse that's not got a chance of a place and is beginnig to struggle i'd rather see them pull up & canter home than see them fall.
