Any Scottish people here use cardboard bedding? Where do you get it from and how much do you pay?

I have used Bed Excel and they are great. You can go and collect a load yourself. I cant remember how much it is unfortunately.

Yup I use it -as does the Weiper Centre at the Glasgow Vet School

There is a company just a few miles from me (Albars) that makes it. its unbranded but comparitively cheap at £5.50 a bale. But I can also get bed excel (i think its that one) from my feed supplier if needed.

Hi,

I tried a few local suppliers but found most of the cheaper smaller cardboard suppliers didn`t extract all of the dust out of the bale and the weights where not alays the same. I went back to ecobale and they done a full lorry load for me for £3.00 + vat per bale collected from thier factory. I then got a local haulage company to collect it when they had a lorry passing to keep the price down. Now I am sorted out for the winter !
