Hello,
Was thinking about gettin jumping lesson off one of them, i know its easier to get Ron. I had lessons off him ahem, 20 years ago, dont member much. Has anyone had lesson of either of them recently? What was it like? i dont have a grade jumped just a highland x who loves jumping but we both need out confidence built over bigger jumps. THanks

Dunno, but Id like a lesson with Douglas Duffin... shame he's gay

if you're not planning on jumping massive heights and are more interested in building confidence I'd recommend Fiona Comrie (Flynn?) she's brilliant and will come to you or you can go to her. I'm not saying naything bad against RB or DD but they are quite high up in the SJ sphere in Scotland and might want to push you further than you need to be pushed.

I have had quite a few lessons from Ron and he is fab. And I dont jump huge heights either. If I jumped 90cm in the lesson i thought it was big!

He is quite sort of just get on and do it, pushes you a bit but not to the point you are terrified.

Ron brady has a good rep didn't Scot Brash train with him in his younger days? I aggree that Dougals Duffin has a rep of being hard to get hold of. I have also heard good things of Sandra Low Mitchell but not had any dealings with her myself.
