scratched eyes after working...what do you do?

for those with gun dogs - esp spangles - do you do anything after a shoot to help scratched eyes?
my cocker always has weepy eyes after a shoot from working in thick under growth - it often results in small infections - is there anything i can do on a shoot day to help? just bath with eye wash or would any drops help?

Bathe with cold tea! It works for my spaniels and worth a try.

Golden eye or the equivalent - can't remember what it is called.

A couple of drops at the end of the day and again in the morning works for mine.

tried the tea bag thing but i think he needs something a little more medicated - i'll def try the golden eye - sounds like it will do the trick

or if not i promise to resort to goggles....
