scratches on synthetic saddlery

One of my saddles is a wintec. I've actually only used it a couple of times but managed to get some lovely scratches (that look a bit like scuffs) down it when putting it in my boot.

Anyone know if there is anything I can do to make them less obvious?

Black (or brown) shoe polish or permanent marker. Or you could e-mail WIntec - they are very helpful.
