SCRATCHING PROBLEM

Hi, My dog has been scratching a wound on her face probably caused from playing with our other dog. The wound is only a minor one but she will insist on scratching it. I know if I take her to the vets he will put a plastic collar on her, which she hates. Can anyone offer any alternative suggestions on how to get around the problem ?

It won't be for long! We all sometimes have to do something we hate which is for our own good; tbh, she's no different! Any potions the other dog will lick away so you need to give it a chance to heal and a collar is probably the only way.

Didn't need a collar, vet just prescribed some antibiotics which did the trick.
