Scuffed saddle fix?

The inevitable happened and I managed to drop my fancy show saddle (again!)

It is now scuffed along the cantle. It also has lost some colour around the front.

Can anyone reccomend something to restore the colour that I can do myself?

Search 'how to repair a scuffed cantle' in YouTube. What should come up is a short clip showing you how to do so. I followed the advice given and successfullying repaired a really nasty scratch. I used a wooden clothes peg.

Olive oil for the lost colour it works really well in my experiance ( I have only used it on black saddles ) do a test spot out of sight first to see the effect.

I will try this I bought a beautiful very expensive dressage saddle cheaply because the cantle is marked.
