We’ve just got a new second hand saddle and it has some scuffs/rubs on the pommel and cantle. It’s dark brown, it’s an Albion saddle.

Can anyone recommend a good product for hopefully darkening the scuffs/rubs? Thanks!

Possibly not the answer you wanted, but I just put a seat saver on mine when it got scuffed. Out of sight, out of mind and all that.

It’s my daughter’s saddle, I don’t think she’d like the look of a seat saver 😂 I would be fine with it though!

Oil darkens the finished surface of leather and will only make it harder to do anything to actually fix the scuffs.

I would post photos as there may be different answers depending on what's seen, despite being a fitter this isn't my area, I want to tag cremedemonthe but it's not coming up?

yes, might be enough if it is just cosmetic though?

OP, yes, it is to darken the leather.
