hi, this is my first ever forum post (so i hope i am doing it right)
I was hoping somone had a tip that i am yet to know for the hairies!!
My pony Maestro has VERY thick feather, and he is very itchy and scurfy, he does not have mite of mud fever as when he had his booster i asked kind vet to check.
So it seems just to be thick dandruffy scurf.I have not done anything to them for quite a while to see if nature new better than a build up of products.
He lives in at the moment as its flooded, so i am not battling with mud (just a miserable bored pony
)
I cant really wash it at the moment, as we only have cold water that is more often than not frozen over, and his legs will never dry (unless with my hair drier)
i have used the usual, hibiscrub, pig oil, baby oil, etc etc nothing seems to work well! Just wondered if anyone had any better tips of routines!
thanks in advance!
